i love this place, a far throw from the usual hackney rubbish, watching the sunset over the marshland, admiring the 'vintage' wall paper and getting to know a real mix of hackney. first place i tried guiness and port (mixed) - delectable and potent!

Lovely place to pull up on a summer's evening. Locals who are busy with themselves but are willing to have you in, make it a welcoming, edgy, experience. Can lock bikes to rails over River Lea, and it's a great view onto the Marshes, watching the Standsted Express roll past. Really, a favourite!

Good place to grab a pint and sit outside by the canals on a sunny day. Just wish they'd scoop all the rubbish out of the canals first...
You may not know it, bit it's got some great shops!
